InBody measures it. TrainerMetrics connects it.

One-time setup. Every future scan syncs automatically into the client record, alongside workout history, assessment data, calendars, and transaction history.

The body composition record that updates itself

Personal training clients care about two things: how they feel and how their bodies are changing. InBody provides trainers with the most credible answer to the second question: bioelectrical impedance data that shows changes in muscle mass, body fat, and visceral fat over time. The problem most facilities run into is that the data stays in InBody. Trainers export it manually, clients forget to ask about it, and the conversation that should anchor the renewal never happens.

The TrainerMetrics integration changes that. Enter the client’s phone number once at setup. Every scan they have completed or complete from that point forward — whether a trainer is present or not — syncs automatically into their TrainerMetrics profile. No printing reports. No manual data entry.

The complete record sits in the client file alongside workout history, assessment results, session count, and renewal date. A trainer who can show a client where their muscle mass was at intake, what it is now, and how many sessions it took to get there is not asking for a renewal. They are presenting the results from the client’s investment.

Integration Features

Set the Baseline at the Start Body

The first InBody scan syncs automatically into the client’s TrainerMetrics profile, giving trainers a documented starting point before session one. The baseline is in the record, not on a printout.

Progress That Documents Itself Body

Every subsequent scan syncs into the client record automatically. Trainers can see the full body composition trend, including muscle, fat, and visceral fat, in the same place they track workouts and assessments. No manual entry required.

Renewal Conversations Grounded in Data Body

TrainerMetrics pulls InBody data into the branded client progress report. When it is time to renew, the trainer walks in with documented results rather than a verbal summary of what they remember. The data makes the conversation easier to have and harder to dismiss.

Grip Strength Testing, Documented Body

TrainerMetrics integrates with the InBody InGrip, a Bluetooth-enabled dynamometer that measures grip strength and syncs results directly into the client record. Grip strength is a primary screening marker for sarcopenia and functional decline, making this especially relevant for senior fitness and medical fitness programs.

Data & Permission

The InBody integration reads body composition scan data from the InBody cloud and writes it into the TrainerMetrics client record. TrainerMetrics requests read access to scan results associated with the client’s registered phone number — no other InBody account data is accessed. Scan data (body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat score, and segmental results) syncs automatically on each new scan and pulls historical records retroactively at setup.
