Account Executive

Join the sales team that is defining fitness

TrainerMetrics, provides fitness and wellness organizations with peer-reviewed fitness assessments and client reporting tools that leverage best of breed practices taught by certification bodies and industry groups. We’re looking for an Account Executive who can drive Outbound Sales and quickly grow with the company.

This person will develop and execute outbound campaigns within our sales engagement platform, Outreach. The ideal candidate would want to learn and grow with TrainerMetrics. They will report directly to the company founders and will be involved in the evolution of the sales infrastructure and the company as a whole.

Some specific tasks this person will be responsible for include:

  • Prospect discovery and qualification
  • Creation of outbound sales sequences and A/B testing
  • Scheduling and performing product demos
  • Assess campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)


  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Have an understanding of outbound sales strategy
  • experience is a plus, but not required
  • Fitness or wellness experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience

  • Are tech-savvy and a quick self-learner
  • Have the ability to manage complex deals from inception to close
  • Are comfortable writing and/or editing sales copy
  • Are a goal-oriented and enjoy a good challenge
  • Work well with deadlines and can easily manage your time and communicate priorities and expectations
  • Are comfortable working remotely and independently, and have the time management and self discipline to get things done in a fast-paced environment with clients and team members across time zones
  • Have excellent communication and project management skills
  • Are highly responsive
  • Are not the kind of person who needs to have their work checked or be micro-managed (you always send client-ready work)
  • Enjoy working in collaborative environments but with the ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Proven track record of quota achievement
